The numbers you type are the pages that go
Type 2, 5-7, 12- and page two, pages five to seven, and everything from twelve
onwards are removed. Every other page comes back in one file, in its original order. The summary
tells you both numbers — how many went and how many were kept — because a page-removal
tool that got the sense backwards would hand you a plausible file that is exactly wrong.
If you want the opposite — keep only a few pages and discard the rest — that is Split PDF, and it is one box of numbers away.
The pages that stay are untouched
Kept pages are copied object by object into a new document, not re-rendered. Text stays selectable, vector graphics stay sharp, and a scan that was 300 dpi still is. The only thing that changes is which pages are present and, if you asked for it, their rotation attribute.
It will not hand you a PDF with no pages
Ask for every page to go and the tool stops and says so. pdf‑lib will happily write a zero‑page PDF and no reader on earth will open it — a file that looks like a result and is not. You get a sentence instead.
Password-protected files are refused, not guessed
If a PDF is encrypted, this tool says so and stops. It does not attempt to break the password. Remove the password with the one you already know, then come back.
Nothing is uploaded
The pages people delete are the ones with something on them — a covering letter, a bank page, someone else’s address. Every mainstream tool wants that document on its server. This page has no server: the parser runs in your browser, and the page’s security policy blocks any connection to anywhere but this site. Here is how that is enforced.
How to delete pages from a PDF
- Drop in the PDF.
- Type the pages you want gone — 2, 5-7.
- Press Remove those pages and download. Everything else is copied across untouched.
