HermitFile Pro
Every tool is free, one file at a time, at any file size, forever — no monthly count, no account. Pro takes a whole batch or folder in one pass, and remembers the settings you used last time — on top of one-click fixes to an official spec for photos and documents that keep getting rejected.

One payment, not a subscription. Nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel, and Pro stops on its own after seven days.
Only need one thing, not even a week of it? The passport photo tool sells a $9.95 file or a $14.95 photo-and-print-sheet, and the bank statement checker sells a $9.95 combined ledger, both one-time, no account — the buy button is right there on the tool page once the free check is done.
The part that remembers
Three more things, all of them work we did rather than limits we removed:
- Saved settings. Name a combination once — “passport form: 200×230 under 50 KB”, “my TikTok crop” — and put it back in one click on any later visit. Live on these six tools: Resize to exact KB Compress an image Crop & rotate Convert format HEIC to JPG Clean a file
- Saved chains. Handing a finished file straight to the next tool is free and always will be — the strip under every result does it without a download in between. What Pro adds is keeping that route: resize → clean → make a PDF, saved under a name, started again in one click.
- Whole batches and folders, in one pass. Every tool processes one file free, forever, no matter how many times you come back. Pro is what runs a batch — a folder, or any group of files — as a single job instead of one at a time. Drag one in free reads every matching file in it, subfolders included, nothing uploaded; picking the folder from inside the page (no file-manager window to find) is also part of Pro, and works in every desktop browser, Brave included.
What Pro actually does
Pro also turns a rejected photo into an accepted one. The acceptance check is free and always will be — every rule is measured against what the authority published, quoted, with a link to the page it came from. If something fails you are told what, and by how much, for nothing.
Pro is the repair. One action crops to the shape the authority demands, scales into its pixel window, and finds an encoding inside its file-size range. Canada wants a photo of at least 200 KB, and no compressor makes a file bigger. EXIF comes off on the way through.
The same goes for documents: Pro re-saves a file into a format the portal lists, under its size ceiling, without uploading it anywhere.
Both checks are free to run: Check my passport photo Check my document uploadIt is also many sets of rules that look alike and are not. The UK allows 10 MB for a passport and 6 MB for a visa. The US takes PNG and HEIC for a passport renewal, JPEG only for a visa. Canada accepts black and white; nobody else does. Keeping that straight, from the source, is the part you are paying for.
