Nothing is uploadedYour browser opens the file and does the work. There is no server to send it to, so there is nothing to leak, log or delete later.
No account, no sign-upNothing to sign up for, and no cap on file size. Free runs one file at a time, forever. Pro takes a whole batch in one pass.
No upload, no waitingWork starts the moment you drop the file. A 40 MB photo does not have to travel to a data centre and back.

Why this exists

Government portals and exam boards almost always specify two things at once — a pixel size and a file size. SSC CGL wants a photo at 200×230 px and 20–50 KB. IBPS wants a signature at 200×80 px and 10–50 KB. Miss either and the upload is rejected, sometimes silently.

Feed a popular resizer a 1400×1400 photo with a 50 KB target and look at what comes back: 399×399. It hit the file size by quietly discarding the dimensions you needed. That file will fail the form.

This tool holds the dimensions fixed and lowers image quality until the file fits. If your target is genuinely impossible at those dimensions, it says so and shows the closest it managed, rather than handing you something that looks fine and gets rejected.

And since every one of these is a passport photo, a signature or an ID scan, none of it leaves your machine. Open your browser's network tab and check for yourself: the page loads its own files, and when your result is ready it sends one empty request to this same domain so we can count that the tool worked. That is everything. No analytics vendor, no tracker, no third-party request of any kind, and nothing carrying your image. The page's security policy blocks this site from opening a connection to anywhere but itself, so your image could not be sent even if we wanted to — here is exactly how.

Working to one number? Resize to 20 KB, resize to 50 KB, or resize to 100 KB — each opens with that limit already set.

How to resize an image to an exact file size

  1. Drop in one image or a hundred.
  2. Type the pixel size your form wants, and the KB limit it will accept.
  3. Press Resize and download. The dimensions stay exactly what you typed.

MOV to MP4Turn an iPhone .mov into an .mp4 by swapping the wrapper, with the video copied across and nothing re-encoded. Trim a videoKeep the part you want. The clip is copied rather than re-encoded, so no quality is lost. Split into partsCut a long recording into pieces short enough to post, without re-encoding any of them. Rotate a videoChange the rotation flag a phone wrote instead of re-encoding the picture. Seconds, not minutes. Remove the soundDrop the audio track and copy every frame across untouched — same quality, same size. Video to MP3Convert a video’s sound to MP3, or lift the original audio out byte for byte with nothing re-encoded. Video to GIFPick a range, a frame rate and a size, and get an animated GIF back with nothing uploaded. Green screen swapSwap a green or blue screen for a solid colour with a live preview, no AI model and no watermark. Silence removerFinds the quiet stretches by listening to the audio and cuts them out, with a timeline showing every cut first. Blur pad to a new ratioFit a video into 9:16, 1:1 or another shape with a blurred background instead of black bars. Compress a videoAim at a Discord, email or WhatsApp limit — or your own — and get an MP4 checked afterwards, not just promised. Noise removerLearns your recording’s own background hiss or hum from a quiet stretch, then subtracts exactly that. Auto-reframeCrops a landscape clip to a new shape and pans the crop to follow the motion, instead of a fixed centre. CaptionsBurns an .srt or .vtt subtitle file into the video as styled, timed on-screen text. Beat syncFinds the beats in the clip's own audio and lands a flash or a zoom-punch on each one. Highlight finderScores a clip by loudness and movement, and ranks the best stretches to cut out, losslessly.
